Well, here goes the weigh in:
I’ll round up as I did last time to 189. That means I gained one pound. Obviously I did not make enough sound decisions during the week to make a difference. I know for a fact I need to do more exercising, I just having a hard time getting motivated to do it. But this is real and I want to feel better. I will start to walk three times a week and do some other form of exercising in the house on the other days. So I got to go to walk this afternoon before the girls get home. Thanks for visiting and have a blessed day.
This Positive Post on Tuesday, is about a blogger named Brad Ruggles. He is going with Compassion Bloggers on trip to Kenya from March 4th until March 10th. I read Brad’s blog daily and thoroughly enjoy his posts. Take a journey with him to Kenya. He will be live blogging during his trip. He asked to spread the word, so here it goes. Go check out his blog, or go follow him on twitter. Better yet, simply spread the word.
![]() | I also wanted you to know about a section that I have changed down on the left of my blog. It is called “Worth Looking @”. In this section will be things I feel are worth your time to look at and spread the word about. Thanks for visiting, and if you would like to comment on any of these posts, you can do it via facebook like some of you already do, but you can also do it below each post where I have indicated below.

Actually at that moment in time, the Garbage truck was cleaner then my van. One of my biggest pet peeves about winter. Our vehicles are disgusting!! Even if you wash them, in a day or two they are gross again. Oh-well they are only vehicles, right?

This video was taken while in our van, but not while driving. I was waiting for the bank to open.
This is the look I get when Romy is caught playing with something she is not supposed to. Those are socks she must have grabbed from the laundry basket.
I love to eat, I eat when I’m bored, I love to eat junk food and I don’t like to exercise. I often look at runners as they’re doing there thing and ask the question, “Who/what are the running from?” for myself you would not see me running unless someone or something was chasing me and then would depend on who or what it was. I know that is pathetic, but oh-well, it’s honesty. I have to be honest with myself to get through this change in lifestyle. I need to change my bad habits, exercise more, and eat healthier items.
Where do you the reader of my blog come in. First, I will weigh in every Wednesday to monitor my weight. If you check out Toby's Blog, he is not setting any weight associated goals. I like this, because I really don’t care if I lose weight, I just want to feel better. Along with the weigh in, I will summarize what exercises I have done. (Don’t expect any running). Second, posting my progress or lack there of publically, brings an ounce of accountability to it all. Third, this is what my blog is about, me, and what is going on in my life.
Comments of encouragement and motivation are welcomed.
I hope anyone else that might be feeling the same way I am or Toby is, come join us. Share some of your ideas, or just support one another with encouragement or motivation.
In summary, I would love not to have to take a breath between tying me left and right shoes. That just sucks! I would also love to walk from the basement to the second floor several times consecutively without being winded. After all, as soon as the attic is done I will be climbing up one more floor on a regular basis. Overall a healthier me will be a happier me doing God’s will. Taking care of a vessel he has given me for my stay here on earth.
So here goes the weigh in, 188 lbs.
As far as exercises, skating on Sunday and shoveling sidewalks the past few weeks.
So my lovely little camera has an issue, it has actually had this issue the last two years I’ve used it. When powering it up, the lens cover does not always open completely. Most of the time, if I don’t catch it while taking the shot, the cover is open enough that a quick edit to resize the picture makes it a useable photo. This is one of the extreme cases and I actually like the shot, it’s kind of cool looking. Mistakes are good sometimes.
Obviously, I could use a new camera. Obviously, a new camera is not one of our necessities. Brenda has an awesome handle on what our needs are and what our wants are. This is why we are able to save money for emergencies and remodeling projects. I love this quality she has. If it were up to me, we would’nt have a pot to…well, you get the idea. I confuse needs with wants or let me put it this way, items I desire are quickly rationalized into needs quite easily. This is something I’ve struggled with all of my life and will probably struggle with until the day I die. Don’t judge me…..I have recognized this flaw in my character and recognizing it is the hardest part. What can I say I am a work in progress. Here is things I desire, but won’t buy because I do actually have self control…

I took some back roads on my way back from Butler today and loaded up my camera with some great shots of the snow.
We had a wonderful time yesterday sledding with our new toboggan. We hope to get out again sometime this week. Maybe tomorrow, the girls have a snow day again.
My three girls could not make up their minds whether to have french toast or pancakes. So I'm spoiling them. I do it out of love. Which do you prefer, french toast or pancakes?

Or you can view in slideshow form. I may add to these later.
I captured this from the tractor as I plowed, this alley way goes behind our house our neighbors parking area. I spent a total of five hours plowing yesterday. This was sure test for the Wheel Horse. It got the job done, it just took for ever.
You know you got way too much snow when you lose a bird bath. It is the little hump just under the bush. We have 17 and it is still piling up. Thanking God that we still have power, some 100,000 customers have lost it over night. The girls are not going to no what to do in all of this.
I took this last night and performed an auto level adjustment and then inverted it in Pain.net. The original photo is below. It was snowing real hard when I took the photo.
i snapped this a few nights ago, I wish I had a real camera instead of this make believe one. One with a decent zoom option would be nice.
The girls played in the snow on Sunday. It was 25.7 degrees outside. My rule for being allowed to play outside is it has to be above 25. My oldest called me out on the fact that it was exactly .7 degrees above that…They had fun and did not get frost bite.
I shot this with my phone early sunday morning while driving over to Lowes. I did actually pull over not to break any laws. I can't afford an accident or a ticket.
