It scales them back to the size of thumbnail. Yuck.
So I had to edit my
Project 365: 204 - Gone Camping
and
Our view while drinking coffee on the dock. Relaxing.
This a cool background of the sun and a severe storm competing in the sky. These storms we have seen this weekend have definitely been the most severe that we have ever endured in our camper. It has survived but our Steelers canopy did not. It collapsed from heavy, heavy rainfall. But no one was injured and nothing else was damaged. We had good times with some great people.
Yesterday, my Dad came over and cut my grass while I did the trimming. As we finished we sat on the porch consuming a beverage (beer), because it was five o'clock somewhere.....
As we sat there there, two hawks were dueling in mid air, real close to our house and garage. I grabbed a camera in hopes to catch some of these mid air acrobatics. Of course as soon as the camera was handy, they moved their air show else where, I could still here them, but they were no where in sight. Later as I was working in the garage, I heard a call that sounded very close, aha, one had landed on our roof. He sat there for quite a while. Pretty amazing!!!!
I imported some images from an old online account to my current flickr account. This is one that makes me smile!

This a deer the girls have named lucky. She has what looks like scar tissue over her left shoulder. It kind of flaps all over as she runs. She visits our property most evening and mornings. You know we are not a hunting family when we name the wildlife on our property...

This is where our cold water storage was in our camper. We have never used it and did not plan on ever using it. I built this storage place in its place. I will keep the equipment I removed in the event we decide to resell the camper. Our camper is pretty small and to us is a tent on wheels, we literally just sleep in it and storage is premium.

Friday morning as we packed up for camp, Brenda's Mom sent me a text with an address of a garage sale that had a dishwasher for sale. I had been doing the dishes by hand for about a month and really did not mind it, though it was a little frustrating when big meals were prepared. Brenda and I discussed it, but thought it could be a waste of time, it might not even work.
We set out for camp without looking back or at the garages sale. We had a wonderful weekend, it was extremely relaxing. We returned on Monday, the holiday, to a cool, empty house. The girls were on their way, Brenda's Mom called on her way here and asked if we could get a dishwasher for free would we take it? Yes, Brenda replied. Brenda's Mom went to the garage sale on Friday and picked up the dishwasher and gave it to us for our Anniversary. It looks to be a little old but in great shape. It is really only temporary, until we renovate our kitchen. I tore the old one out and installed the new/used one on Tuesday. It works great. Nothing like freeing up $400 some dollars in mid camping season.
No more dish pan hands for me...
Sore Thumbs are very good. Something new to do for breakfast. Just not when it is already 80 degrees out. Hot...
The view from suite #1 at PNC Park. Brenda took me to a game tonight with some clients. We had lots of fun.
