Product Review: Husky 13 Piece POWERTEK Precision Screwdriver Set

About a week ago I received a tool from Husky Tools to review here on my blog. I received the Husky 13 Piece POWERTEK Precision Screwdriver Set.

This little screwdriver is slick. I can’t get over how thin it is, saying that it is compact does not do it justice. I have used to open the battery compartments on some of the girls energy devouring devices and played around with it installing switch and outlet covers. Again, it is real easy to handle and use. It comes with these bits: phillips #0, #1, slotted #2, #3, #4 torx #20, #15, #10, #8, and allen #4, #3, #2.
I appreciate the fact that it has its own case, which gives all the little bits a home. It operates on two AAA batteries that are included when you purchase it.

This unit as most of Husky's tools has a lifetime warranty. This unit sells for $9.98 at Home Depot.

In short here are some positives and negatives from my point of view:

Positives:

  • Very Compact
  • Easy to use
  • Great carrying case with bit storage
  • Decent battery life
  • It’s inexpensive
  • Lifetime Warranty

Negatives:

  • It is not rechargeable
