Crowder - Come As You Are

I love this...

Come As You Are

Come out of sadness from wherever you've been
Come broken hearted let rescue begin
Come find your mercy, Oh sinner come kneel
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can’t heal

So lay down your burdens, lay down your shame
All who are broken, lift up your face
Oh wanderer come home, You’re not too far
So lay down your hurt, lay down your heart
Come as you are

There’s hope for the hopeless
And all those who've strayed
Come sit at the table
Come taste the grace
There’s rest for the weary
Rest that endures
Earth has no sorrow
That Heaven can’t cure

So lay down your burdens, lay down your shame
All who are broken, lift up your face
Oh wanderer come home, You’re not too far
So lay down your hurt, lay down your heart

Come as you are
Come as you are

Fall in His arms, come as you are
There’s joy for the morning, Oh sinner be still
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can’t heal
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can’t heal

So lay down your burdens, lay down your shame
All who are broken, lift up your face
Oh wanderer come home, You’re not too far
So lay down your hurt, lay down your heart

Come as you are

Come as you are

"Fix My Eyes" by for King & Country (Video)

"Fix My Eyes" by for King & Country is my current favorite song that I jam to in the van. If you see the dark blue gas guzzlin' pig drive by with me singing my heart out, it is probably to this song on K-Love radio.

Here is a video of Inside the Music for "Fix My Eyes" via K-Love radio that I found in my Facebook feed this afternoon.

Thunder Over Adams (Photos & Video)

We started this weekend with the girls each having their best friends sleepover, Friday to Saturday. Last night as we were leaving for church the girls asked if we could go to our local Community Days for fireworks, the fireworks show is called "Thunder Over Adams". We have watched this show for several years from our attic window. I love fireworks and always have, they did not have to twist my arm too much...

Bethany and Aliyah hanging with George, on Saturday morning, while I made waffles.

Bridget and Echo hanging on the blanket waiting for the Thunder Over Adams.

As we waited we were presented with a rainbow...

...and also a dramatic and dynamic sunset...

and let the show begin...

This fireworks show was incredible, long and full of different elements.

New Favorite Thing...

My first share is my new favorite thing to do. It is to stream music videos to my Google Chromecast. For those of you wondering what a Chromecast is, let's call it a HDMI thumb drive. Below is what it looks like and a diagram of how it connects.

It plugs into an open HDMI port on your HD TV and then it also requires a power connection that can usually be plugged straight in to the TV's USB port or the small power supply that comes with the device. Once it is connected and setup you simply stream content, videos and music from a device, to your TV. Currently the apps that are supported consist of Netflix, YouTube, HBOGo, HuluPLUS, Pandora, and GooglePlay Movies. You can also mirror stream right from Google Chrome from any PC, which means what you see on your PC's display in one tab of chrome is what you see on your TV. It is also cross platform, Apple and Android devices are able to stream. Keep in mind that to use this device with Netflix, HBOGo, and HuluPLUS you have to be a subscriber to each service. With GooglePlay Movies, you just have to purchase the videos or watch ones that are free.

I am absolutely amazed at how well this system works. There is talk among the tech communities that there will be more apps available in the future. I can't wait to see what is next for this little device. The price of a Chromecast is $35.00, I picked mine up at Best Buy and I have noticed them at quite a few of the other stores I frequently visit, for the same price. This would make a great stocking stuffer for those tech enthusiasts in your family.

Another share, a video I really enjoy, by Phil Wickham recorded live by Klove Radio.
