Photos of Christmas 2012

We had an awesome Christmas!
On Christmas Eve while Brenda and I did some house cleaning, while the girls decorated the cookies.

The girls did an outstanding job with the cookies. We also made Peanut Butter Blossoms and no bake (cow patties) cookies.

After the house and the cookies were ready, we got cleaned up and dressed for our Candlelight Worship Service at Church. This service is my favorite one of the year. I get goose bumps every single time! We managed to have a few minutes to snap this quick shot before we set out for Church.

When we returned home, Sammy and Lori came over to spend the night. Sammy got a huge bone and shared it with Georgie.

We rested for a little, the girls woke us up between 4:30 and 5:00. So we got an early start to say the least.

I love this comparison, the difference between something she really wanted and something she needed…it’s a balance that gets harder, the older they get.
This next two pictures are of me. I have to add here that my girls and my mother in law have completely spoiled me. I have wanted one of these for about four years, but we could never truly justify the expense. I now know why Kohl’s Cash can be an addiction. The deal they got was incredible.
I still have perma-grin. :-)

So there you have it, I wish had taken more photos. We were done opening presents by 6:20am, which meant we did not have wait long to eat my famous annual Christmas cinnamon rolls. (yes that is the official name I just game them) They were delicious!!
This is only some highlights of the big day. We got some really thoughtful gifts from everyone! Thanks to all!!
If I have not said it already, We had an awesome Christmas!!
We are blessed beyond our wildest dreams. God is so Good!!
Now I have to go find a recipe for some rolls I can whip up with the mixer…I just can’t wait to use it.
Do have any good recipes that would be good to use with my new mixer??
Thanks for visiting my blog and have a blessed day!!
