Bethany and Sammy, my mother in laws beagle.
Here is Bethany at the Pymatuning Wildlife Center. We did not catch any fish this morning but will give another try tomorrow morning. Today we completed our educational commitments. We did get our water back this afternoon. I don't remember another time I needed a shower more. Setting camp up in 80 degrees with lots of humidity and not being able to take a shower afterwards, sucks. Even with all of this we are still enjoying thus relaxing time together.
We got a later start then we hoped and then arrived to find out a water main was broken and the campground has no water. But we are all set up for our first camp outing of 2010, and looking forward to fishing tomorrow.
I know, we will be camping, and while camping your supposed to enjoy the outdoors. We will, and we will be connected while doing so.
Three weeks ago tonight, we had to
put our dog down.
It sucked, it sucks, and it will probably do
so for quite a while. :-(
I need this valley of this roller
coaster of life to start to climb again.
Even though
I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

Sorry
for repeating, but I needed the reminder.
What a funny video. If you don't check out Pete's Blog out daily, you should. There is some great stuff over there!
From left to right, my dad, my niece, Rachel (better known as Ray-Ray), & my mom. My dad turned 75 last Monday. We had a great dinner at Lisa & Dave's, my sister's and her fiance's house last night. Her lasagna rocks. This message has been sent using the picture and Video service from Verizon Wireless!

I had a great time with Bethany's class on their field trip to Heinz Field & PNC Park. Here is the Steelers Locker Room.
Tomorrow I get to go see where these guys play, Heinz Field and then where the Pirates play, PNC Park. But for now, I need to concentrate on The Pens!
Go Pens!

This week: 177 lbs.
Last weigh in two weeks ago: 179lbs.
Original weigh inL 188 lbs.
Weight loss for two weeks 2 lbs.
Total overall weight lose: 11 lbs.
So, I'm not sure how this happened, when I get stressed out I eat.
I have been busy with odds and ends in the attic, working on broken stuff like the furnace, dehumidifier and boat.
So I must have burnt more than I consumed. I feel much better, I have not had near as much heart burn or acid reflux. I still cant' quite tie my shoes in one breath but I'm getting close...lol. Thanks for visiting and have a blessed week.
Read the warnings. That's amazing, simply amazing. That means someone has used this benadryl (actually equate equivalent) to make their kids sleepy. Wow.
From our family to yours. Thank you. For all of the prayers, thoughts, and words of encouragement during this difficult time for us. We are truly blessed to have family and friends like you. Have a blessed week.
We did not plan on having to take Romy to an Emergency Animal Hospital last night. But we did.
We did not expect to get bad news when the doctor explained her findings. But we did.
We did not plan on our Awesome Dog Romy having to stay the night at the hospital. But she did.
We did not plan on how different the house was, without her bedtime and morning routine. But it was.
We did not plan on how empty our bed felt without her snuggled into one of us during the night. But it was.
We did not plan on more bad news this morning that the meds really had not improved our outlook for our poor Romy girl. It hurt, to the bone.
We did not plan on us having to say goodbye, so early, to such an awesome dog. But, we will this afternoon.
We can not plan on how we will console our little girls hearts when they break because their best friend is gone. But we will do our best, with God’s help.
We did not plan on missing you so soon, Romy. But, We do and will forever.
These are some things we did not plan, but God did.
It’s all his plan.
We just have to recognize it.
Even when it breaks our hearts.
It’s all his plan.
Oh how appropriate, after reading Plan B by Pete Wilson.
This truly has been one of the hardest decisions we have had to make.
Please continue to pray for us.

I was so excited to get in on the pre-release of Plan B by Pete Wilson, that BookSneeze.com offered. Thanks to them for the opportunity. Now onto the book review:
“What do you do when God doesn’t show up the way you thought he would?” Just one example that is in this compilation of Plan B stories. Encouragement resounds within the cover of this book as well does hope. Real life stories from the Bible assist the readers in realizing we are not the only ones who have had to go to Plan B.
I read this book and now have a better understanding of how to react when faced with Plan B. It is all His plan and not ours. Here a couple of quotes that stood out to me:
- “Instead of griping that God isn’t living up to your expectations, that he isn’t meeting your needs the way you think the should be met, that he isn’t answering your prayers with a vending machine woosh…you can make the choice to receive what he is offering you in this moment.”
- “Even in the midst of a Plan B, you really have only one task, one calling. And that is to do what you would do if you were confident God was with you.”
Stop complaining about what you don’t have, stop having the “What have you done for me lately?” attitude and receive the Grace, the Forgiveness, and the Hope God gives us eternally. God is with you always, we must remember this in our hearts.

I told Bridget to stop kissing her when she was sick. I'm trying to feed her small portions of rice and boiled ground beef. She is not having any part of it.
